Victoire Ingabire is not only a politician, but a woman who has balanced family and public service with extraordinary courage. A nonviolent freedom fighter, she has endured exile, prison, and persecution—without ever giving up her dream of a free, united Rwanda.

🔹 1968 – Born in Rwanda
🔹 1990s – Exiled in the Netherlands, studied economics, worked in finance
🔹 1997 – Co-founded opposition party RDR, later FDU-Inkingi
🔹 2010 – Returned to Rwanda to run for president
🔹 2010 – Arrested, sentenced to 15 years (charges widely condemned)
🔹 2019 – Founded new party: DALFA-Umurinzi
🔹 2025 – Arrested again, accused of incitement (critics say: repression)
