En d\u00e9pit de cela, elle demeure une h\u00e9ro\u00efne relativement anonyme en Europe. R\u00e9duite au silence par la force, Ingabire est l\u2019une de ces femmes qui incarnent courageusement l\u2019espoir des millions d\u2019africains avec une volont\u00e9 indomptable, que de nombreux africains comparent \u00e0 Nelson Mandela.<br \/>\nCette femme de nationalit\u00e9 rwandaise menait une vie confortable en exil avec son mari et ses trois enfants en Hollande. Toujours active dans la lutte pour la justice dans son pays, en 2006 elle fut nomm\u00e9e pr\u00e9sidente de la coalition de l\u2019opposition politique de la diaspora, des Forces D\u00e9mocratiques Unifi\u00e9es FDU-Inkingi. De cette fa\u00e7on, Ingabire accepta le difficile et dangereux d\u00e9fi de retourner au Rwanda pour se pr\u00e9senter aux \u00e9lections pr\u00e9sidentielles d\u2019Ao\u00fbt 2010. Peu de temps apr\u00e8s, elle fut arr\u00eat\u00e9e et jet\u00e9e en prison sur la base d\u2019accusations de terrorisme et de d\u00e9lits d\u2019opinion, et soumise \u00e0 des proc\u00e9dures judiciaires en l\u2019absence de garanties l\u00e9gales, comme le d\u00e9nonce Amnistie Internationale.<br \/>\nElle et son groupe politique estiment fermement que les probl\u00e8mes du Rwanda sont d\u2019origine politique et m\u00e9ritent aussi une solution politique. En tant que bons africains, leur programme politique fait partie de la philosophie d\u2019Ubuntu, la r\u00e9solution de probl\u00e8mes par le dialogue, l\u2019unit\u00e9 et la collaboration. A la t\u00eate de son parti, Ingabire lutte, avec toutes les cons\u00e9quences que cela implique, pour la paix et la r\u00e9conciliation du Rwanda qui est depuis tant d\u2019ann\u00e9es sous le joug de la peur et de l\u2019in\u00e9galit\u00e9. Elle suit les maximes d\u2019Ubuntu, elle d\u00e9fend la compr\u00e9hension mutuelle et non pas la vengeance ; la r\u00e9paration mutuelle et non pas les repr\u00e9sailles.<br \/>\nSa famille, ses amis, ses partisans, ses coll\u00e8gues de parti et de nombreux congolais, rwandais, ugandais et burundais viennent de cr\u00e9er le groupe Les Amis de Victoire Ingabire en Europe. De cette fa\u00e7on, ils pr\u00e9tendent principalement rendre visible la lutte de Victoire, car c\u2019est ce qui la maintient en vie.<br \/>\nMais ils travaillent \u00e9galement pour la prise de conscience des citoyens europ\u00e9ens sur les r\u00e9alit\u00e9s du Rwanda et de la r\u00e9gion des Grands Lacs africains et pour la collecte des fonds pour les honoraires des avocats de Victoire et d\u2019autres prisonniers d\u2019opinion qui, comme elle, languissent dans des prisons du r\u00e9gime brutal du FPR au Rwanda.<br \/>\nDes poursuites judiciaires auxquelles est confront\u00e9e Ingabire constituent probablement l\u2019histoire la plus longue et la plus complexe du pays. Le gouvernement du Rwanda, dirig\u00e9 par Paul Kagame, et tout son appareil r\u00e9pressif savent que s\u2019ils laissent cette femme sortir de prison et se pr\u00e9senter aux \u00e9lections, elle balaierait les \u00e9lections telle une v\u00e9ritable vague d\u00e9ferlante.<br \/>\nDes gens qui n\u2019ont plus peur de manifester publiquement leur sympathie se font de plus en plus nombreux. Victoire, avec ses principes d\u2019Ubuntu et la non-violence, a secou\u00e9 le syst\u00e8me de terreur qui opprime la plupart des Rwandais depuis maintenant des d\u00e9cennies. Dans cette lutte pour la paix et la r\u00e9conciliation, ce que nous pouvons l\u2019offrir, c\u2019est de ne pas l\u2019oublier. C\u2019est important pour la garder en vie, alors elle gagnera, parce que, comme le disait Gandhi, quand ceux qui d\u00e9tiennent le pouvoir vous ignore, ensuite vous raille, apr\u00e8s vous combattent, \u00e0 la fin, vous gagnez.<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/rosamoro3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rosa Moro<\/a> est une journaliste et activiste.
